Hello world! : Why Smart Techie Journal ?

First of all I would like to thank you for visiting this Journal ( I Call it journal, because somehow, I was not comfortable with the buzz word – “Blog”!). I still don’t know the reason for disliking this word, which is now helping me to put down my thoughts in-front of you… to read and share your views and ideas…. just for a better world!

As I said, though I am a techie, I never liked the web technologies (being more into software application programming), I didn’t like the loosely designed web-pages and web interfaces too. My curiosity in web-technologies started, when the techie in me noticed the change of equations that made the web-pages going “alive”, “asynchronous” and “more interactive”, added up by the revolutionary business models of Google and Yahoo, que up by all other new generation Internet bandwagons – Youtube / Orkut / Digg / Stumbled ….. the list goes on…..

New buzzwords – Ajax / JSF and plethora of XML & DOM technologies and frameworks were just creating lot of confusion around… added up by the flooding of application & library frameworks of Java. I got puzzled up and recently got chances to look up into these technologies for one of my recent “User Interface” project.

Meanwhile, I brushed up my thoughts to put down all my knowledge-base into a place where others can access it. The cause of it, which I found is: “Every day in my techie life, I am coming across lots of puzzles and issues, for which most of them I am finding solutions too”…

So my thought is to do a brain-dumb on the net, so that people like you can dig-it up and…. may be I am sure that you will find the information that sounds good for you and beneficial to you too…

So I am just launching my smart techie journal in our “traditional geek way!”…
